" I've been carrying for well over 15 years. I've always thought Kydex holsters were too rigid and bulky.I've always used leather. After serous thought I tried a HAWG.... Hands down the absolute best holster I've ever had. This holster is so comfortable I've had to make sure I was carrying at times. “What a great holster!

At first I was debating if I made the right decision once I received the holster and opted for the extra Ulticlip XL. Hands down one of the most comfortable and secure IWB holsters I’ve ever purchased.
 
I am a retired federal agent that has carried concealed more than most. With that said, get the XL in addition to the basic Ulticlip. At first you might think it’s a bit much, but I assure you the retention it provides is well worth it. The holster itself is super comfortable and knowing it is not moving unless you want it to is unlike anything I’ve experienced.

“I have been carrying a side arm for 47 years, in both concealed and open carry, multiple positions. Took me a long time to wrap my aging brain around plastic guns, and even longer to let go of leather, but this holster deserves raves and raves again. Placed my order early this week, John called me (I messed up my order) as he was racing about getting ready for Jeff Cooper's 100th birthday shoot at Gunsite, and I got the holster yesterday. I normally don't write reviews and I'm not being paid to do this one. With that being said, I purchased this holster after watching Survival on Purpose's YouTube channel where the reviewer recommended Hawg Holsters.

Let me just say in addition to the exceptional quality and materials of the holster, that the owner, John, has AMAZING customer service.  

I live in Arizona and purchased the holster on a Tuesday afternoon and had it the next day (Less than 24 hours later!)

As others have mentioned, John is VERY responsive when you email him and he even called me to follow up.  There's no wonder he is successful at his trade.

Also, another thing that sold me is John's organized website and his "how to videos".

This guy is on top of his game and I wish him continued success! I look forward to maybe even meeting the Boss "HAWG" someday and thanking him personally!

“Honestly, a GREAT small business with small town style customer service.  I ordered a holster for my Springfield Hellcat today after reading several reviews about HAWG Holsters and watching some videos demonstrating the holster.  I was impressed with the reviews and how sleek the holster was and also happy to find something made in the USA with all American sourced materials. And the fact that it was a local business here in Arizona was also a bonus for me.  
 
I paid the extra $7.99 for priority shipping because I had no holster to fit this new gun.  The owner, John printed the shipping label with standard shipping and then realized that I had paid for priority shipping, so since we're local here in Arizona and not too far from Scottsdale, he decided to just drive it over to us.  Then he took the time to show me how easy it is to adjust the screws to make the holster tilt to fit how you like to carry your gun.   
 
I can’t say enough good things about this company or the quality of the product they provide.  If you need a holster for any gun you own I hope you give this guy your business.  He takes pride in his work and he backs it up with a great product and hard to find customer service.  I’m sure he doesn’t hand deliver every day, but the fact that he did it even once is something to talk about.  Thank you, John!  I'll be recommending you to all of my friends!”

“I was looking for a holster for my LCP II chambered in .22. Could not for the life of me find one. Then I came across a YouTube video and someone mentioned he makes one for it so I figured what the heck. This Ulticlip kind of threw me off and wasn’t really sure along with the lack of adjustable retention. Dude, this holster is solid 5/5. The speed he got it out for shipping was amazing. I ordered it Wednesday and was here Friday. The cant adjustment is great, the Ulticlip is next level, and the retention is perfect. No need for adjustment. I even had a question about the shipping called up and was talking to him in seconds. No automated voice nonsense. And he is incredibly nice as well. 110% recommend you try these holsters. “The fastest shipping I have seen, ordered it on Wednesday and got it today, Saturday, this is the second one I have purchased, I love the clips, am tired of the other clip ones, these are so much easier to get on and off, and they stay on where you put them. “I ordered a holster for my work carry gun. John rang me out of the blue from the US. He told me that it was going to cost more than usual to freight it as I live overseas. He apologised about the freight charge which was out of his hands. To offset the cost John upgraded me to the carbon holster, added a Gozenta multi tool and a HAWG Holster patch.

To say I was impressed with his customer service and added extras is a huge understatement. 

The holster itself is very comfortable and works perfectly. I really just wanted to drop a line about the overall excellent service, which is way above many other companies I've dealt with. Especially considering that I'm in Australia, John really went the extra mile.

It one of the best I ever owned.

Holds the mag perfectly, I wear it with running shorts and it holds on tight. It also attaches to my EDC bag with ease. I haven't carried an extra mag holder before because I don't wear a belt. Now I can.”

“This holster is a slim, no frills, sturdy holster. This holster only have 1 setting, tight. I can hold the holster upside down, shake it and the only slight raddle I hear is from the magazine, but I am still able to draw with ease. I highly recommend the Gozenta to go with a HAWG Holster for your vehicle! John will make a holster for you if you have a difficult gun to find a holster for, just email them (not sure if you have to be in the area or not) my turn around time was one day!”

“I just gave this holster a bad review. Wasn’t really the holster so much as it was the Ulticlip. This was MY fault as I didn’t watch the video about it. I read reviews and seen all the recommendations on some outdoor channels but never watched the videos. I was however impressed because Mr. Abbott called me just after e-mailing him and posting the review. That is someone that cares about his customers and his product! So I am going to give it a try and then we will see. Sometimes it is better to refrain from instantly running your head. (Me)”

“I absolutely love my HAWG Holster!! I Have an HK P2000SK 9mm which means I can't find too much of anything for my gun without paying an arm & a leg. “I’ve purchased two of these holsters for my Ruger LCR 9mm with a Crimson Trace grip. I got one with the Ulticlip and one with the XL clip. They fit perfectly (John adjusted the holster for the grip). I’m very happy with them, the regular clip model is my go-to running short gun combo and the XL for when I’m wearing a belt. “Purchased holster for Ruger LC9 (wife also owns LC9) with Gozenta not for carry but for vehicle firearm access when either travels alone.  HAWG Holster and Gozenta are top quality, firearm is snug in holster but draws easily and rapidly when set up in passenger seat belt receiver.  On arrival at destination, system quickly detaches for storage, or transfer, and again firearm is easily removed to my preferred OWB or wife’s purse for regular carry. “I received my HAWG Holsters for my Glock 29 today 2 days after my order!!  Just as my other four HAWG Holsters, it is a perfect fit and they are the best Holsters hands down. 

This Glock is for wildlife emergencies while hiking and I spoke with HAWG Holsters owner and CEO told him what the gun was for and how I wanted to carry it in a pouch on the left should strap of my backpack.  He made sure I received a bigger UltiClip with the order in addition to the normal one on the holster.  He gets it and goes the extra mile to make sure the customer is outfitted in a safe and practical manner.

“I ordered and received an IWB holster for my new pistol, the relatively new SC (sub-compact) version of the Walther PPQ. I was excited to get it because very few other manufacturers had anything for it, including none of the "big guys". I had a serious problem with it that I noticed on day two. I won't go into details on the problem as that is immaterial to this review. The point is I made a comment in another review about the problem I had encountered. The very next day I received a phone call from the owner. On a Saturday. From his home. After discussing the problem I was experiencing, he committed to a fix and promised to ship it to me the following Monday. On Wednesday I received a brand new holster body which worked perfectly. I LOVE this holster! It is comfortable, it fits my gun like a glove, and the Ulticlip is very unique and innovative; I have a custom molded holster for a fraction of the cost of many other holsters with not nearly as good a fit or comfort level. And what more can be said about the customer service? It is the best I have ever personally experienced, hands down! Thank you, John. You have a customer for life, and I will refer everyone I know to your website to look first to meet their holster and accessory needs. This deserves a ten star rating on a five star scale if ever there was one.”

“I emailed John with a question about a holster for my Taurus PT111 G2 on a Wednesday about 1130pm Eastern so I figured it wouldn’t even be looked at until Thursday morning. I got an email back within about 10 minutes, and ordered the holster 5 minutes after that. I got a tracking number for the shipment by about 11am Thursday that said it would be delivered Monday. I thought the turn around was amazing!  I get the mail Saturday afternoon, and there’s my brand new H.A.W.G. Holster! 2 days early. I was like a kid at Christmas. “I recently decided to CC and purchased a HAWG for my Sig P938 because I was convinced that I could not comfortably carry my Ultra Carry II or VP9. “Several months ago I purchased a Gen 4 Glock 26 and around the same time I took firearm training classes and acquired a Michigan CCW permit. “I researched and researched the IWB holsters till I was red in the face. After comparing all I could find I was down to three. The HAWG came out on top due to its form, fit, and function with the Ulticlip 3. I purchased two, one for my Ruger LCP 2 and for my Glock 26. Both appendix carry and very comfortable. Even did the ole tuck trick with the Glock and sport shirt. “I have to say Brian at Survival on Purpose and John made me a believer in HAWG Holsters. I’ve been using it everyday for my conceal carry, I carry a Glock 43 w/laser-light combo. It conceals my firearm completely from view, it’s comfortable and doesn’t print. It’s also incredibly safe and secure. It has a solid hold in the holster and there’s no fear of it slipping out or any kind of motion. One day I helped a distressed motorist and I had my concealed weapon on me, so I had to run a bit to get the car off the road. My HAWG Holster held my firearm securely and it was a real world test of its durability and safety in an emergency situation. So needless to say I’m impressed that it’s reliable in an unexpected situation, but that it holds up even when doing simple tasks like bending or just moving around. Compared to some other holsters, that Ulticlip is the difference maker, it’s secure as secure can get. It locks onto your belt or pants so securely it will not come off at all. But also Johns holster is designed so well and locks the firearm in so tightly, it’s much higher quality than others I’ve used. I trust my life to this holster, it’s about as honest as I can get with a review like this. Get one, you won’t be disappointed.”
