As y’all know, we love dogs!!! Whenever we get a “new hire” pup here at HAWG, one of the first stops is to get them a “DAWG tag” with their name and contact information.
We noticed that the tags we got at the “local” National Pet Mart lacked a permanence to the marking. Sure, the laser-marked tags had the name and phone number marked ON the tag. But, marked ON isn’t quite the same as ENGRAVED IN. With the dogs here being active, that information was difficult to read in a relatively short time!
John, our Top HAWG, came to the conclusion that tags on dogs should be like his Marine Corps dog tags - durable with the information engraved in the metal so it would NOT wear off. When HAWG Holsters moved laser operations in-house, John made some tags for Buckley, Clementine, and some of their friends to test.
The information is ENGRAVED INTO THE TAG in the USA and will not wear off. So after testing, we proudly introduce the HAWG TAG, the information “STAYS,” even when your pup won’t.
Our tags are hardened aluminum alloy, anti-rust, corrosion resistant, scratch resistant, non-fading, lightweight, and reliable. Collar ring included.

Engraving is available on both sides, up to three lines per side. Each line has a 15-character limit. The 15-character limit includes spaces and dashes. See images for font choices. Please note that font size will be bigger on tags with only two lines of engraving, versus three lines.
